When time came for The University of Melbourne to launch an EOI campaign for the development of one of their assets, the Prince Alfred Hotel in Carlton, they looked to Marché to capture the current mood of Melbourne’s bar and casual dining scene. Not forgetting the rich heritage of the site, the brand mark draws upon the natural beauty of the original signage.
Extending through multiple platforms; print, environmental and digital, the creative concept was a catalyst for inspired and insightful responses to the EOI from developers, and has paved the way for Melbourne’s next iconic drinking and dining destination. Authentic and relatable photography helped to actualise their vision for the project.
